Bay Readers is the creation of Victoria Stace.

Victoria wrote a collection of children’s picture books and was looking for a means of publishing them. Observing how her own children loved interactive books on the computer, she decided to turn her books into free interactive ebooks.

The first book, “Something Special for Millie”, was inspired by the daily walk to school along Oriental Parade, in Wellington, New Zealand, with her younger daughter to collect the older one. Victoria had the book illustrated in a way that allowed some basic animation, and interaction by the reader.

The intention is to continue to load further books onto the site as they are completed.
